We saw how hard it was to find fresh, natural olives for sale, products that didn’t use chemicals to rush the curing process, but rather time-honored traditions and authentic family recipes. We founded Sicilian Village, to share the true taste of Sicily with kitchens across the globe.

I’m David Quartaro, the owner of Sicilian Village. I come from a long line of food-loving Italians. My great-grandparents left Sicily and came to America to create a new life, but they never left their love of Italy--or food--behind.

As a third-generation Italian-American, I cherish the memories of il pranzo della domenica, or Sunday feast, with my family. The love and care my grandmother put into cooking her handmade pasta sauce and the savory Italian sausage that came from my grandfather. There was nothing like sitting around the table laughing with our hearts- and stomachs- full and happy.
